Gonna separate my entry on my TW and HK trip in different parts.. so here's part I!
Covering Day One and Day Two!
Here we go!
Day One 16 May 2007: Iris and i took bus to Changi Airport T1 at 6 am in the morning with our huge trolley luggage bag. Lucky it wasn't very crowded.. Checked in and roamed around the transit area. (Come to think of it, exactly one year ago, i was working in CAAS, and ROAMING around the transit area everyday.)
Waiting to board CX!
The food on board wasn't as bad i tot plane food to be, though i can't rmb what i had. :x
And dear was really excited about the movies we can watch on board!
But i was too tired, slept for about 2 hours out of the 4, and we reached HK for transit to Taipei!
See the excited iris and melissa??
hahaha
HK airport is quite impressive... comparable to Changi airport!
Then we are back on flight... 2 hours more to Taipei!
TAIPEI!!!
Weather was cooling, not hot at all.
We had a comfy ride to a hotel, thanks to the nice and friendly uncle.
4 of us are really tired... see my poor lil iris taking a quick nap!
We stayed in Rosemary hotel or Nong mei hotel.
The hotel is not really very near the MRT though, prolly a 15 mins walk.
Kinda like the room, very spacious (as compared to the one we had in HK), And the bed is HARD, though dear likes it.
Quite a comfy stay overall for the 5 nights.
And they had a jacuzzi tub!!
Though i tried it only once.
Rested for a while and we headed to
SHIDA NIGHT MARKET, which is near one of their university, NTNU.
How to go? Taipower Building Station MRT
I read that it was one of the largest night market, but i think otherwise.
We finished the street in like 1 hour or so, and the night was still young!
Had quite a few tasty food, but didn't take any photos. :/
Wanted to walk to another nearby night market, but we were really tired so we headed back to rest for the night and get ready for DAY TWO!
Oh, and i really like their MRTs.
Very neat and orderly and fast!!
Everyone just queue up to board the train even though it is SUPER crowded!
What's more, everyone just automatically stand to the right so that those who are rushing can go pass on the left!
Why can't SG ppl be more civilised?
I dont ask for much, just dont' blast your IRRITATING hp music or mp3 or games in MRT!! TPE mrt rides are really comfy.
They are really thoughtful people too!
They have this 'BO AI' seat, and ALMOST NO ONE sat on this seat so that it can be reserved for the elderly, disabled or pregnant ladies!
Cam-whoring, while waiting for the train!
1st attempt!
Where is iris??
We got.. 1/2 of iris!
Finally!
Why the train so long one!
I love this pic! So funny!
3 very tired girls.

Day Two 17 May 2007:
1st stop:
XIMENDING!How to go? Ximen Station (Exit 6)
Excited!
The weather was windy... why so many people tell me it is HOT like SG?
So we started our search for the much anticipated
AH ZONG MIAN XIAN.
Can you spot it in the picture?
OMG. Finally.
I am salivating now, and i am sure my dear is too!
People are already queuing for it, at 10 plus in the morning.
Slurps*
Then we headed to
'SAN XIONG MEI' for the highly recommended SNOW ICE by hongwei. It is at the end of
Rainbow Hotel.DAMN SHIOK!!
Shiok enough to make us go back again on Day 4 (or is it 5?)
Melissa wanted to try out the swing concept restaurant, so we headed to
FUNNY FISH or DOU YU restaurant!
I kinda like the place, but we are the only customers then.. so the place is really quiet..
Food was average, but drinks were nice!
After the lunch is settled, we headed to my FAV shopping place -
WUFENPU!*screams*
How to go? HOUSHANPI STATION,Exit no. 1.
From the exit, you actually need to cross one of the road and walk quite a distance. Actually, till now i am still not quite sure how to walk there. :X
We got lost actually, coming out from the MRT, and luckily a nice lady helped us and we managed to find the place.
Not sure is it that we went there at a wrong day or wrong section, most of the shops we went into, the prices are EX!! Somemore even more ex than SG. :(
Didnt buy much that day...
But we are still 3 happy girls.
Dear dear was.. well, didn't enjoy himself as much. :x
Sorry...
We also had xiao long bao at one of the food stalls!
Real cheap and BETTER than crystal jade and din tai fung! *boo to them!*
Hmmm, but i don't have the pictures yet.. probably with melissa still.
After the meal, we crossed over to RAOHE NIGHT MARKET!
How to go? Walk to the end of Wufenpu, you'll see Songshan Train Station.
There is an overbridge there, walk over it and Raohe is there.
I kinda like this night market, even though there's nothing much to buy there.. but the food is nice... ambience wise, it's quite... relaxing?
And we saw this ah peh dog, whose owner is selling those light stick and ornaments and she uses him to promote her products! The dog is really tame, didnt bark or run around throughout. Just sit there quietly, as if he is oblivious to the surroundings!
This ended our DAY TWO, retired back to hotel, to get ready for the NEXT DAY!

I AM BACK!!
It's 9 days, packed with non stop eating, and more eating.. shopping, climbing countless stairs and getting lost.
Lol.
I am missing taipei and hk already.
Missing the food the most and the cool weather.
I am melting already in SG.
Waiting for the pics from dear and melissa.
I prefer HK to TW, although TW has cheaper food and more clothes to buy... but somehow, HK seems more fun to me. I DEFINITELY WANT TO GO BACK AGAIN!!
WHEN CAN I GO AGAIN???
I am missing Argyle center and fa yuen street!!
I am missing the dim sum too!
It is only like 36 hours ago, i am having the most mouth watering and cheap dim sum i ever had.
Now, my stomach is growling and there's nothing to eat.
Sob.
Cant wait to start blogging..
Let's wait patiently for the photos.. :)

I don't like packing for holidays.
There is ALWAYS this nagging feeling that i am missing out something, but i just can't pin point what it is.
Tsk.
And my trolley luggage doesn't seems as big as it is supposed to be. Almost 3/4 fill for my stuffs now. HOW IS IT GOING TO CONTAIN MY BUYS??!!
BUT,
I brought this china 'burberry' bag and this fake 'LV'-ish bag to carry my loots!!
WOOO~! So excited!!
So now, what is missing still??!?!?
Anyway, my TW iti has finally finalised.. (hahah).
Hope it's well planned and nothing goes wrong.
*cross finger*
About 30 more hours till my flight time, and about 37 hours till i reach TPE!
Gonna transit in HK for 1 hr..
SO EXCITING!

@ 1:36 AM
My so called last day at work.
Had this job for about 3 years plus..
It's my very first interview i went to, and i got it.. and it became my very 1st job until now...
Wouldn't say i regretted working there, definitely exposed me to people from different walks of life.. you will see some funny characters everyday, working there. And knowing a bunch of lovely girls like Kelly (my 'mentor', i miss you, kelly!), Carole (loves talking to this girl, she has so much interesting stuffs to say!), Serene (This girl has full of energy, if you dont talk, i will feel strange.. lol!), Peggy (Very responsible and meticulous, hope you are doing well now), Shuhui, Shirlene, Amber, Michelle and many others who came and left.. :)
Turnover rate too high!!
SO...., to mark my 'last day', i treated Serene to Gelare!
I am really glad you enjoy the food.. hahaha..
Nothing expensive, but you seems to love it alot!
Serene loves the camera so much that she poses for me everytime i requested.. hahaa.. but too bad my skills no good la.. :x
My fav photo with you!
Big hugs, serene!
All the best for your studies and future...
I'll never forget the times working with you. :)

I have been neglecting my blog after exams ended.. hee.
3 weeks have passed by really quickly.. not sure what i have been doing?
Working, planning, gaming, going out, watching shows and whatsoever..
Some pics taken after our last seminar revision in NTU.
The hopeless and endless 179 queue.
The last picture together on our way to school.. :)
The last seminar revision in NTU.
The 'last meal' in NTU.
And some pics after our papers!!
Headed to JP for a cup of refreshing bubble tea as a celebration!
Wwahahaha.
Drinking bubble tea on train.. oopss.
Well, this kinda marks my last chapter in NTU.
Time to move on...
But i will definitely remember all the times we shared, especially year one and staying in hall, going supper with dear, meeting him for lunch, fooling around with iris in hall, doing all the horrible projects and then bitching about other people, all the crapping, rushing cuz we are already late (WAHAHA), the professional attachment with lingwei and sihui and all others...
Thankful that i knew a great bunch of people, like lingwei, sihui, shufen, zihui, daniel and others.. i dont really know many people in sch, cuz i am a loner.. haha.. but thank you peeps. :)
Mel, iris and dear!
We shall end this chapter with an awesome graduation trip, alright??!
BIG HUGS~!
