Ah.
I havent been blogging.
Hhhmmm.. nothing to blog about anyway.
I havent been buying since i return to BKK, everything seems so ex.. haha.
And i felt kinda broke after all the spending.
So this is good. Keep it up! Hahah.
But, i spent $47 today, bought my ettusais foundation refill. Bah.
So ex. But they had free gift for over $80 and so since iris got her refill as well, i got this loose powder thingy.. look really cute and very pretty colors.. hahaa.. except i dont really have any idea what to do with it. =/
And i cut my hair today! I think i look like a small girl with fringe. Pout.
Jojo, the hairstylist, wasnt up to standard today imo.
Dont know what happen to her.. bleugh.. she was really quiet and actually looking quite pissed today. =/

I hate kids. Serious. Totally. H-A-T-E K-I-D-S.
I was super irritated by this lil brat aka monster when i was working today.
She tried to enter into the stock area which is like 'STAFF ONLY'.
I gently (at first) pushed her away, telling her she cannot enter, BUT she kept on trying to move into the space!!
Finally buay tahan, and her maid is damn buay zhi dong, only pulled her away UNTIL i told her that the monster CANNOT enter the area.
Fine, so i went over to open the other shop and i pulled the gate halfway to prevent the brat from coming in cuz she is running toward the shop.
And this dumbass, tried to enter and suddenly the gate started moving down and nearly hit her on the head. I swear i got noting to do with this. I was like inside the shop, turning on the lights and things like that. Her mum was glaring at me, BUT i got nothing to do with it!!
Fine, so i finished opening the shop and walked over to the other side.
And guess what the bloody brat is trying to do??!?!?!
She ran over to me and started to step on my shoes and toes! Bloody brat!! So i walked away to another side and she came running after me and tried to step on my toes again. WAH!!! BTH. I pushed her away and glared at her and told her to get lost.
I think she got a shock, but after that she started grinning at me.
WTF. I just wish i could give her a one tight slap across her damn face.
Freaking kids. They are all little devils, creating havoc.
And yes, this monster started pulling at the bags at our shop and even scolded her maid, pointing at her and mumbling some devilish language.
What a bloody spoilt little bitch.
Tsk. Disgusting.
On a side note, i got a new purple bag from shop and it is 'free!'
Well, almost free cuz i won the $29.90 'bag voucher' and used it to redeem it.
The bag cost $49.90, but the boss gave me extra discount.. so i actually only have to top up a bit.
AND! He gave me extra cuz sales was good.. so i practically didn't pay for the bag.
Hahahaha.

My BKK TRIP! *I wanna go back*
DAY ONE
Met dear early in the morning at Changi Airport Terminal 1, about 730 am to check in. So sleepy, didnt really sleep much cuz i was too excited!
Boarded Jetstarasia flight 3K511 at 940 am, and we are OFF TO BKK!!
BKK, here we come!!
It's been like 10 years since i last sat on a plane, the last time was when i was 10 yrs old to USA! *i want to go back there too!* Hope it wont be another decade till i sit on a plane again. Blah.
Touched down BKK airport about 1040 am! We are in Bangkok!!! WOOOOoo!
Tried to look for KFC in the airport but to no avail, and we were freaking hungry!
So decided to head back to our hotel 1st.
Headed to our hotel, and taxi fee cost us 60B for the tollway, and 50B for the extra hiring in airport charge, and 160B to our hotel. Bah. 1st thing we spend, is on the cab fare. tsk.
Reached Samran place, and i couldn't hide my disappointment, cuz the hotel is really small! The lobby IS the dining area, so we were quite confused, whether to enter from the front, or from the back.
However, I would say i love samran place now, definitely going back there when i go back to BKK! The staff are really sweet and nice, no airs and help us with everything. It's a really cozy and warm place, even the lady boss (i assume she is cuz she seems to oversee everything, from the check in to the food to rooms etc) was busy helping everyone.
Our camera is out of battery at the most part of day 1, so not much pic. Haha.. batt was still charging in the room.
After checking in to our room and settling down, we headed to PRATUNAM for our 1st stop. Boy, i was SOOO excited! Walking and walking.. we saw KFC and rmb we are FAMISHED. We had the KFC at pantip plaza. Blah. Disappointment again, the chicken was dry and kinda small (quite cheap though). Headed to A&W cuz i was lemming for the root beer float. I love root beer float!! And dear had the ice cream waffle. The waffle is damn shiok la! Super nice, much better than our gelare in SG. Dear was lemming over it the whole of 4 days when we were in BKK. Hah.
Done with our meal, and we headed to Pratunam at about 2 pm. Keep on walking when you're there.. dont be enticed to buy at the 1st 2 streets cuz there are much better stuffs when you walk further down! I bought the most things here in Pratunam. Clothes are cheap, we bought a total of 8 tees at 50B each, which is like 2 bucks?? Gave a few to my sis and dear gave to his cousin and kaitian.
The place is like our bugis village, just that it is much bigger and DEFINITELY CHEAPER. I will never go back bugis village, or rather i wont buy things there, cuz what you see in bugis, selling for like 19.90... cost only about 5-10 bucks in SG!!
We stayed there till the shops were closing, about 5-6 pm.
Headed back to our room to rest and we were damn shagged la. But damn fun. Hahaha.. i bought alot of things!! *but not enough!*
Our next stop is MEMORIAL BRIDGE NIGHT MARKET aka Phra Buddha Yodfa Bridge.
One of the receptionist is so sweet to guide us, very patient cuz both of us were like.. memorial bridge night market, where is it? And she gave us the puzzled look cuz it is not called memorial bridge night market AT ALL! At least that is what she told us. And we were going, like flower market? Then she smiled and pointed at the map and directed us.
Left the hotel again for dinner and we couldn't decide where to eat so we settled down at one of the nearby 'kopitiam' (hah). The food were ok, cheap.. but dear scalded his lips cuz of the SUPER HOT soup (kept HOT by the red hot coal!) Poor thing.
Then we headed to the night market! Took a cab there, i think it was about 50B?
The place is like our pasar malam! Except it is MUCH longer and the stuffs are MUCH nicer. Didn't have any pics cuz it was quite squeezy, and seriously, we were too busy looking at stuffs we forgot all about pictures! haha.
I bought my fake birki here, at 100B!! It's the cheapest i see!! And got a pants here for 100B too! Super cheap. That's 4 bucks?
More guys stuffs here in the night market, saw really nice men outerwear, but sadly not feasible for SG weather, so dear didnt get any.
Then we headed to the flower market. Ahhh.. here i have the pic. hurhur.
I wanted to buy a bunch! Cost only 30B!! That's like $1.50??
SO pretty!! But kinda wasteful, cuz i probably keep it in the hotel, and it will probably just start rotting or sth. =/
Here's what i got in pratunam and the night market, should have more tees but i couldnt find it.. and i took some out to wear it. Hurhur. haha..
DAY TWO
Day 2 already!! Woke up around 830am, so freaking tired... been so long since i wake up so early!! Had our 1st breakfast at Samran place, and i had to say i enjoyed the breakfast ALOT! It was more like buffet breakfast, we had lots of servings of the sausages cuz it's damn nice la. Hah. Didn't manage to get the pancake cuz we woke up late. *sob*
1st stop of day 2: Erawan Shrine!
We took a cab there again, about 60B i think?
Had to walk a short distance to the shrine.
Reached!
You pay the dancers, for them to dance to the god for you, or sth like that. =X
Many SG peeps here. In fact, everywhere is SG peeps, can just recognise our accents. Ha.
Next stop: MBK
Really huge shopping complex, SO MANY SHOPS, but i didnt really get anything there. Price are quite steep, no wonder mendy says i can give the place a miss.
BUT, the food court is SUPERB!!!
Say we are mad, but we had 5 dishes - Pad Thai, fried oyster omelette, fried mussel omelette, tom yam soup and mango sticky rice. DAMN SHIOK!
Then! We headed to Nam Sing and dear had shark fin soup, i had bird nest soup and pepper crab. DAMN SHIOK!!
The serving for the shark fin is quite generous, for the small serving, it can serve up to like 4 bowl size( like those you drink during wedding dinner) for 300 baht!! Dear said it's awesome, i didn't try (i dont drink shark fin!) though.
Bird nest is damn shiok also la..300B too, i ordered the 3rd grade one.
Everything is so DELICIOUS!!
I was bloated, and i look like i am pregnant for 4 months. Hahaha

Dear got his contact lens for half year, softlens and it cost $40?? In SG, it's like 50 plus-60?? Great savings man!
We went tokyu to look for his levis, but someone in fp is, either trying to be funny, or made a blunder with the price, but there was NO 501 for 60 SGD only!! Dear was so disappointed cuz i told him someone in fp mentioned her SO bought his 501 for 60 plus. =/
However, the salesgirl told us there is another levis shop at siam center, so we planned that into one of our stops for later of the day.
Went to 29 plaza, and i dont know if i entered siam square cuz we were quite confused. Hahaha.
The stuffs there are quite nice, a bit steep though (but when i come back to SG, just thinking of it make me regret for not buying the skirts i wanted cuz it only cost like 8 bucks?!?!?!) I bought 2 tops and a cami for 7 bucks each. The top!! was selling at FEP for 23.90 and i nearly got it a month back! And here it is selling for 7!! Wah.. i grab 2 colors. Hhahaa.
I got a pair of white peep toes too, for 8 bucks. Haha SHOESS!!! I love shoes.
Now i think the shoes selling at TW is damn ex la.. 22 bucks?? BKK, 8 bucks!!
Lots of manicure shops, look fun.. wanted to try but my nails are really short and BROKEN (tsk) so nah.. give it a miss.
Then we head to Siam Center
And we bought our Levis there!!
I got a pair of 593 for about 51 bucks!!! Damn cheap lor.
I never plan to get any levis, cuz dear just bought me one like 1-2 months ago but 51 bucks?!?!!? Dont get will regret. Hah.
Dear got 2 pairs.. and average up to 73 bucks per pair. Cheap right!!
Cuz there was 20% off, if the total is more than 3900B and we exceeded. 20%!!!
When will we ever get a 20% off levis jeans in SG??!?!?

Nearby was Siam paragon so we decided to go kaypo since it was just opened on the 9th dec. When we took the cab earlier, when we were heading to the airport and another time was when we were heading to erawan shrine, the drivers were like Siam paragon.. new new! Open! 9!!
I think they are very proud of the new complex.
The building and interior are really awesome... reminds me of our Taka but MUCH BIGGER, HIGHER END and CROWDED. Shops like hermes, cartier, gucci, chanel etc have yet to open. I think it's like a to see and be seen place there.
They had a car show too.
Only managed to capture one.
We had ice cream there and left the place for our dinner at MK restaurant!
The food is quite nice, steamboat.. we had to order what we want and charged accordingly. No pics again... cuz too busy eating. Hahah.
Went back hotel to rest after that, half dead again. Blah.
Then we head to Suam Lum Night bazaar!
I really like the feeling there.. really relaxed.. easy to walk.. had some kind of peaceful feeling. The place is quite happening too, people were drinking beer, watching soccer on the big screen.. really crowded.. very nice atmosphere. Would be damn fun if we had a big group of friends there tgt to drink and have fun!
Really nice handicrafts and furnitures there. Dear bought 2 light holders (or sth like that) for his bro cafe and i got a 'AI' lamp for myself. I will definitely go back there to get furnitures one day!!
Dear bought a pair of shoes too, the guy who serve him is really funny.. i was laughing the whole time throughout the transaction. He quoted us 800B 1st which is total madness, we wanted to walk away.. so he was like 600B!! And he kept asking what dear's shoe size and immediately run off to get the size for dear.
Dear like the shoes, but probably also get the shoes from the guy due to his ernestness to clinch the deal. Finally we settled for at 420B (which was still quite ex actually) and dear's happy, the guy is happy too. haha.
Dear got a shirt too.. fake U2 i think.. but damn nice also.. very cheap too.. i think it was 150B. I got a pink straw bag too.. SO PRETTY!! 100 B only.
I couldn't decide the color - green, pink or red. But dear said pink is the nicest.. so got the pink one only. I think i would have gotten all 3 if dear wasn't there with me!! hahaha.
We left the place about 11.30 pm.. and waited for the taxi for quite some time.
Finally.. back to samran place. home sweet home. zzzz.
DAY THREE
1st stop of the day! Chatuchak Weekend market!
I woke up the earliest on day 3.. woke up at 7.45 am or sth. Blah.
Dear's a good alarm clock. Bleugh.
We walked over to BTS to take the train to Mo Chit.
Mo chit mo chit mo chit! Sounds cute. hahaha
I took a pic with dear, but i took really tired and eyes is damn small (it's small enough already!) and the ride took abt i think 15 mins?
And we reached!
The weather was ok for in the morning.. but when it was about 1-2 pm, it started to get hotter and hotter.
There's LOADS of fake levis, but the sizings are quite weird and very short. None could fit dear. And we met this really rude guy who threw JEANS at us when we requested to see a specific size. Stupid me even pick up the jeans and return him after that. So dumb. GRRRR. Should have just leave it there. Bloody idiot.
I felt the stuffs here are nicer than Pratunam but definitely more ex and more rigid with the price. I like quite a few skirts and tops but they were like 299B and the lowest they can go is like 250B? That's like 10SGD, which seems so ex when i am there. Hahaha.
Bought cheap panties and bras here.. bras are like 2 for 110B, panties are like 3 for 100B i think? Quality's not that bad.. i think i bought a total of 12 pcs. lol.
Earrings are nice too!! I got quite a lot pcs to give out, to keep and to sell, hopefully can earn some money back. Hah. Bought a skirt here too, really really like it. SHould have bought even more!!! *regrets*
Ate a ice cream for 15B.. it was rock hard.. dear had a hard time eating. And i couldn't resist the strawberries too.. cost 20B for a small packet.. i didn't have enough small change and then i found 10B on the floor.. hahaa.. so that paid half of the strawberries.
We headed to the animal section before we leave CTC. Really heart wrenching.. so many of them squeeze into a small space or cages. Really cute too.. and uber cheap!! The golden retriever was like $250 when in SG it is selling for $1800?? All of them have this, please take us home look. So poor thing and all. Look like they were quite malnourished too. We bought some biscuits for rex and brown brown.. but ended up giving quite a bit to some of the dogs there.
We left at abt 2 pm cuz we started to get tired of CTC and headed to Chinatown (Yao Wa Rat). Got into a PINK taxi finally! But we couldn't take a pic of it in time. *pout* I like the pink and purple taxi!!
Cab fare was quite ex.. i think more than 100B.. cuz CTC and Chinatown are quite far apart. Not sure if we got cheated or not though. Well anyway... reached chinatown after about 20-30 mins or so i think!
And we were appalled!! The traffic and air is MOST HORRENDOUS. Omg.
It's just jam and jam and jam. The air is the most polluted there.
We got a bit irritated too, cuz it was damn crowded and everywhere is selling those CNY decors and goodies.
Got hungry too.. cuz we didn't ate any lunch.
Found T&K seafood but only open at 4.30 pm.. we were there at 3.30pm or so.
Went to buy some food to bring back home and we walked along one of the streets where they are selling loads of earrings and toys.
BUT, damn crowded again..cars and people all fighting for space, people screaming at people to move.. spoiled our mood to shop and dear got really hungry.
Didn't buy much there... dont even noe we are on the right street or not.
Dear finally gave a roadside stall a chance and bought this really delicious fried chicken! SHIOK! Dont know is it cuz we are super hungry or whether it is really that tasty. But one local actually keep giving us thumb up sign and pointing to the chicken in his hands. Haha.
AND FINALLY, it's time!! 4.30 pm!
T&K seafood!! Can't wait to try it. Heard mix reviews about it.. so must try.

Back at hotel and rested an hour or so.. and we headed back to MBK AGAIN. Oh wait..i think we walked over to a A&W near our hotel for waffle and root beer float again before heading to MBK. Hahaha.. memory's falling. Or is it on day 2? =X
Took a tuk tuk to MBK this time!
Decided to catch a movie for the night cuz we didn't plan anything to go to any night market for day three. We were enticed to catch a show too cuz of the price.. after 8 pm(i think) was 120B = approx 5 SGD?? That's damn cheap la.
We bought tix for king kong!!
And the show was like 9.10 pm.. so we had extra time to spare.
We walked past swensen and was damn tempted by a promo they had.. 59B for a cup of ice cream! 3 scoops!! That's damn cheap la. Hahaha.. SO... we walked in.
And...
Ordered the ice cream chocolate fondue instead.
DAMN NICE RIGHT!!! Just by looking at it, i am salivating. hahaha.

It's show time!!
Quite impressed with the designs of the cinema.. i think it's really cool.
The cinema sound system is really good.. comparable to our GV. Dear think GV is better but i think SF cinema is better!! The seats are quite comfy too.
However, they screened commercial for a really long time.. i think almost up to 30 mins.. but the thai commercials are quite innovative and some are really funny.
And finally!! The show is starting! (cuz they dim the light mahz.. bleugh)
But wait! They started playing this video of their majesty and everyone starts to stand and kept quiet, and kinda like pay respect to his majesty. I think it's really cool.. everyone standing up automatically, no need for any prompting. And they show pictures after pictures of his majesty and sounds etc... for about 2 mins or so.. then the movie starts.
I enjoyed the movie.. i cried.. haha.. at the part where king kong stretch his hand.. to ask the girl to go over and when king kong died. Damn sad lor. *sob*
But the 1st part of the show is quite draggy.. but still.. the show is AWESOME!!
Headed back to hotel at about 1 plus am. Became zombies.. the both of us.
DAY FOUR (last day!! sob)
Ah... day four.. so quick.. pout.
We woke up about 8.30 or so.. wanted to wake up early to decide if we want to go maybe grand palace or maybe CTC or sth.
Headed to lobby/dining area for our breakfast (delicious as usual) and decided we had to go do business after the breakfast. Hahaha.
So we headed back to our room to do biz.. (urgH) and ended up sleeping for about 30-45 mins or so!! We both woke up at 10 plus-11 am in the end.
Haha.
We settled to comb Pratunam again, too lazy to go anywhere.
BUT, we went to A&W (again!) for waffle and root beer float. Hahaha
Didn't managed to go Indra Square on day 1.. so we headed there straight. On the way, we walked past really auntish stores and i rmb HL's advice.. AVOID AUNTIE AREA (haha) so we just squeezed thru the crowd (it was damn CROWDED on sunday as compared to Thurs) and dear found this store selling really NICE levis tees for 100B each!! Damn nice la.. super nice the tees.. and dear bought a total of i think 4 pcs? I got a pc for my bro.
Nothing much in Indra Sq.. i didn't get anything there.. and we comb other parts of Pratunam. Really hot and stuffy there.. I got 2 pairs of really nice earrings at this shop wear they are making all the accessories on the spot. The earrings i got are really pretty!! 100B each..a little ex for earrings.. but i was super happy. Cuz they are damn gorgeous!!
Got these 2 necklaces/chokers too.. 80B each.
I didn't buy much at pratunam that day.. bought 2 belts for 20B each!! ahaha.. not bad la.. got my dad a wallet and belt.. a billabong singlet for my sis bday.. can't rmb what i buy le. =X
Went back hotel to put our stuffs and took tuk tuk to MBK (again) not for shopping but food court. Hahah.. we couldn't resist the pad thai and the fried oyster. Salivating already.

Decided to give other food a try too.. so we end up ordering pad thai, fried oyster, beef soup and kuay chaps. YuMMY!!
We were too lazy to go anywhere else.. we actually planned to go khao san on the night of day 4 but too lazy.. so.. we settled at MBK for a movie again. hahah
Bought Aeon Flux this time at 9.50 pm and you guess it.. we had swensen again! Haha.. basically when u put 2 pigs tgt.. this is what you get. lol.
Eat and eat and eat.
No pics(ooppS) but we had a cup of those like SG sticky chewy chocolate kind each.. those were 99B each (only!) and we ordered another cup of 59B one to share! ahaha.. fattening but damn full. Hahhaa.
Still alot time to spare.. so we explore the bowling area.
Really cool! Looks like a clubbing place.. they were even serving beer and the music were blasting!!
And we waited for the show to start.
The show is not bad.. worth 120B. Hehe. Charlize Theoren is damn cool in the show. And they modified this gal to have hands as legs. A bit creepy looking though.
Back at the hotel at about 12 plus am.. and we packed all of our stuffs.. to return to SG on day Five morning. So fast. =(

We had KFC after checking in.. and finally BKK KFC proves itself. Rmb i said day one.. the kfc was dry and small and all that? The one at the airport is super big and juicy and cheap!! No wonder they say the KFC is good. SO ONLY the KFC at the AIRPORT is good. Rmb that! Check in early for KFC!!
